Call for Demos
Scope
Demo papers at the 29th International Symposium on Wireless Personal Multimedia Communications (WPMC 2026) should showcase innovative prototypes, experimental platforms, and practical demonstrations related to next-generation communications technologies. Under the theme “Toward Society 5.0: 6G, AI, Quantum Technologies, and Sustainable Green Connectivity Beyond 2030,” the event encourages interactive demonstrations that highlight advances in areas related to 6G and beyond, AI-driven and quantum-enabled communications, green and energy-efficient networking, IoT and cyber-physical systems, security and digital inclusion, as well as emerging applications, testbeds, and integrated communication, sensing, and service technologies that support the vision of Society 5.0., fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and research communities in a globally connected environment hosted in Natal, Brazil.
Proposal Submission Guidelines
Prospective contributors are invited to submit a demo proposal of up to 2 pages, including a system description and illustration of the demonstration. One additional page is allowed, subject to an overlength page charge. Submissions exceeding 3 pages will not be considered. The proposal must be written in English, and must use the standard IEEE two-column conference template that can be downloaded from: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html.
All submissions will undergo a blind peer review by independent reviewers.
Authors are encouraged to include a link to a short video or screencast demonstrating the system, and a separate document describing setup requirements MUST be submitted alongside the demo paper. Demo proposals need to obey the same general requirements with respect to registration, presentation, double submission, and plagiarism as full conference papers. Only PDF files will be accepted for review. To submit the proposal, authors must send the demo proposal alongside complimentary material via the following link: https://forms.gle/x3rJeCoCXyMHvma57.
At least one author of each accepted paper MUST register (full registration fee) for the conference and present the paper. Only registered and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Accepted papers will be included in the WPMC 2026 Proceedings and submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to compliance with IEEE Xplore’s scope, quality, and formatting requirements.
Important: WPMC 2026 is enforcing a strict publication & no-show policy as stated by IEEE. Be aware of the IEEE guidelines regarding AI-content generation. For courtesy to the Reviewers and the TPC, an accepted paper cannot be withdrawn without appropriate reasons approved by the TPC Co-Chairs. By submitting a contribution, you agree to the terms of the publication and no-show policy, as WPMC 2026 is an in-person event. For details, please refer to the Submission guidelines available on the conference website.
